Narrative description of Project: 
The major activities are:
 
· Capacity Assessment and Design of Modernization Plan of Meteorological and       Hydrological Services and Early Warning System of DHM
· Modernization of DHM observation networks, communication and ICT systems,    improvement of hydro-meteorological numerical prediction systems especially in the field of  Civil Aviation Sector.
· Institutional strengthening, capacity building and implementation support to DHM
· Design of legal, regulatory and institutional framework for DHM. Enhancement of the    service delivery system of DHM
· Pilot End to End Early Warning System in two River Basins of Nepal
· Pilot DHM climate and weather information for users in agriculture- Agriculture    Management Information System
